Oct. 9--Mario Figliomeni scored three times and dished out six assists as the Northern Hawks soarded to a 13-0 win over the North End Flames Tuesday in Thunder Bay Jr. B/Juvenile/AAA Hockey League action at the Tournament Centre.
Curtis Sandberg also had a big night offensively for the Hawks scoring five times and adding an assist as did Rory Romano, with a pair of markers to go along with four helpers.
Paul Drombolis, Kris Hardy and Stefano Lento also tallied for the Hawks.
Cody Pelletier only had to make 12 saves to post the shutout while Mac Potter suffered the loss in goal for North End facing 44 shots.
League play continues Thursday as the Hawks meet the defending league champion K&A Wolverines in a 7:30 p.m. start back at the Tournament Centre.
